Signal is an optional, temporary way to express openness to a shared moment in a chosen approximate area. Read this policy with Privacy, Community Guidelines, and the Terms of Use.
1. What You Choose
An eligible adult account with a reviewed visible profile can choose a moment, intention, approximate area, duration, and supported notification preferences. Current durations are 15, 30, and 60 minutes. You can end a moment early.
Availability depends on current account and profile eligibility, visibility choices, blocks, and whether the relevant moment is active.
2. Approximate Areas, Not Live Pins
The Signal area index uses broad geographic zones. Exact coordinates can be used to choose an area, but the Signal index does not store or publish a per-person live GPS position. Approximate distance bands describe chosen areas, not a precise distance between people.
Do not use Signal to locate, follow, identify, or infer another person's home or precise movements.
3. Public Places Are Suggestions
A cafe, park, or other suggested public place is a meeting idea. It is not proof of where a person currently is, a reservation, a commitment to attend, or an endorsement of a venue's suitability. Verify conditions yourself before meeting.
4. Visibility, Alerts, and Acknowledgements
Eligible users may see the approved visible profile and relevant moment while available. Shared-interest alerts require both people to opt in. An acknowledgement is a small notice, not an automatic match, accepted invitation, or obligation to respond.
Use supported choices for notifications and acknowledgements. Do not send repeated unwanted contact or bypass blocks or declined interest.
5. Endings and Saved Moments
A Signal ends at its deadline or when stopped, and may become unavailable after a block, visibility change, moderation decision, or account change. Saving a moment or retaining a notification does not extend its life or grant independent access to a person's profile or interactions.
6. Data, Consent, and Safety
Dodees processes the chosen area, active moment, account eligibility, approved profile information, preferences, and relevant interaction records to provide Signal. Retention and privacy rights follow the Privacy Policy.
Consent to a Signal is not consent to precise tracking, offline contact, a date, or any further relationship. Meet in public, arrange your own transport, and respect the other person's boundaries. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
